Like the students he seeks to help, Kepa Freeman's journey to music was not a straight line.

A late bloomer, he discovered three passions for music in his first year of college: songwriting, music production and film music.

After failing two auditions to get into Temple University's music program, he couldn't become a music composition major, and had to settle for an alternative program that left him graduating feeling underprepared.

Over the years, however, Kepa would have the opportunity to intern with Charlie Brissette, the film composer for Jimmy Neutron. He would also go on to study music production and film scoring under David Levy of David Levy Scoring.

After years of piecing together the music creation puzzle, Kepa would officially start his music career with a 5-figure paycheck; composing and producing the music and theme song for the pilot of a faith-based kids show.

Now, he uses his experiences to teach aspiring songwriters, producers, and composers how to make the music that they hear in their heads, at a level that can start their music careers...without a years-long learning curve.
